Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church Newport News, Va

Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church was established in 1898 when the city of Newport News was in its infancy. The original church building was downtown on 27th Street, but in 1957 the congregation moved to its current location in the Huntington Heights/North End area. Through the years, the church and its ministry have grown and changed the community.

Today Trinity is a vibrant, Christ-centered community celebrating the Good News of God's love for all people; welcoming folks from a wide variety of ages, backgrounds, and religious traditions; and working together to alleviate hunger, racism, violence, and hopelessness in our city and world.
