We are a 3-person partnership: Mitch, Luke & Hetty. We all completed the apprenticeship in Ecological Horticulture at the Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems at UC Santa Cruz. We grow fruits and veggies in a 1 acre farm garden, but it's growing!
Mitch is our Site Manager: he makes sure things run smoothly on the farm and runs the greenhouse. He also does much of the planning out of our farm plot. In addition to produce, he also raises cows and sheep and has particular interest in roses and wine grapes.
Luke is our Harvest Manager: he takes care of our plants in the field, making sure they are doing well and ready for the market. He's a food and wood craftsmen - always on the scout for things to forage, whether it be kumquats (for making marmalade), persimmons (for drying), quince (for fruit leather), or felled trees (for making beautiful bowls and spoons. Hetty is our Market Manager: she makes sure things are ready to go for the markets and helps out with all other farm activities as needed. She helps Luke with his food and wood crafts and does a bit of her own. In addition to farming, she also plants trees during the off-season in her hometown of Oakland.

Special shout out to Mitch's wife: Virginia who continues to be a huge support of this venture and is quite a food-smith herself! and to good-humored AJ who helps a lot with infrastructure.
