More about Trumpeter's Song Missions

Did street ministry and ran a women's homeless shelter in Panama City, Fl. Then, in June 2003, our mission was established in Nigeria, West Africa. Due to chronic illness, I returned to the states in September 2008, having successfully handed over the work to various established entities. For more detailed information on the works established for Africa please visit our web site is: http://www.tsong.org

We are currently operating the mission in Marianna, Florida. We have established an organization called the King’s Table Feeding Program (since Dec. 2008), which grew out of the annual Community Free Thanksgiving Dinner, founded and operated by Lori Gregg, who now partners with Trumpeter’s Song in the management of King’s Table Feeding Program. King’s Table includes the free feeding/pantry program, a free clothes closet, and assists with the special needs program of Trumpeter’s Song.

Our feeding program provides hot meals up to 125 seniors and/or medically needy shut-ins twice a month, with the pantry providing food bags to the most financially needy. Our King’s Closet provides clothes at no cost. Both the food and clothing clients are served by referral only. Referrals are made from the Jackson County Sheriff Dept., the Marianna Police Dept., the Jackson County Senior Citizens Center, Salvation Army, FL State Attorney’s office (Battered Women's Program), the Jackson County Health Dept., Covenant Hospice, as well as local churches and other non-profit organizations in the area.

A benevolence program is run directly under Trumpeter’s Song where we provide assistance by networking with other non-profits as well as local businesses. We have provided wheel chairs, other medical equipment, have helped to find housing, funds for utilities, and assisted in transportation needs.

Trumpeter’s Song continues operating in foreign missions and is currently working with a small orphanage in India called The Champions House, by providing teachings and some financial aid as we have funds. We also continue working with pastors in Nigeria who have continued our work.

Funds are raised through donations and speaking engagements. There are some churches that support the mission but we depend mostly on private donations.

I hope to expand our work as best I can and depend on new partners and/or volunteers, as well as being open to new ideas for furthering our charitable work.

My greatest hope is that this introduction has helped you know who we are and what we do. We would love to have you come aboard in whatever capacity that the Lord would lead.

Blessings,
