Tucker Stables was formed on June 1, 2012 by well established cowboy Jacarro Tucker. Jacarro is a western horseman in its truest form with a passion for Quarter horses and Tennessee Walking horses. Tucker Stables was born from his passion for fine horses. Tucker Stables begins at the very beginning and breeds the best to ensure superior blood lines for years to come.

The mission of Tucker Stables is to breed the best, break the best, train the best and be the best. We have a unique program that allows young riders to build confidence and learn to be the very best in everything that they do through their interaction with horses. Children and riders of all ages and stages come to learn the proven skills that have made Jacarro and his team successful. Tucker Stables takes inexperienced riders and successfully develops them into knowledgeable horsemen.

The youth program of Tucker Stables allows children and teens to have their first equine experience. It may begin with a simple pony ride, but through the instructional and hands own lessons they are galloping away in no time. They begin with the basic fundamentals and progress
to advanced levels of training.

Tucker Stables has two locations. The primary location in Hope Hull, AL operates programs in breeding, breaking, training, equine fundamentals and western riding lessons. The secondary location is in Uriah, AL and is managed by Anthony Tucker. This location operates programs in working, riding and cultivating the talents of Standard Bred and Tennessee Walking horses. Anthony is known for taking a horse, expounding upon its innate skills and extracting profound talents that many owners didn’t realize their horses possessed. Anthony also has instinctive love for horses. He has been riding horses over 20 years and is known as a premier farrier in his area. His is highly sought after for his equine wisdom and training methods.

The vision of Tucker Stables is to give the gift horsemanship to everyone in Alabama. In the future they hope to create an educational program that will allow public and private school students to experience the magic of Tucker Stables. Horseback riding provides recreation and physical exercise that can be incorporated in the Physical Education programs. It also improves balance and coordination and develops confidence and high self-esteem. They are working on the development of a boarding program that will help facilitate their training program.
