The TCA meets on the second Tuesday of every other month starting in January.
The business meeting, which includes breakfast and an opportunity
to network and socialize, starting at Noon.
An educational presentation/workshop is from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Continuing Chaplain Education Credits (CCEs) are provided for the
presentation/workshop via the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC).

Anyone interested in chaplaincy is invited to attend any meeting.
Donations for programs and speakers are appreciated.

TCA Membership

To become a member of the TCA, an application for membership is reviewed and approved by the TCA membership committee. The three types of membership are as follow:

A. Regular Member:


A regular member is a duly authorized and trained chaplain who is serving as a chaplain in an institution, agency or military service in the Tucson area.

B. Associate Member:


Associate membership is open to chaplains not currently serving in an institution, agency or military service in the Tucson area, as well as anyone interested in the work of the TCA.


C. Retired/ Senior Member:


Retired membership is open to those who are 65 or older.


Dues are $24 annually for Regular and Associate members ($12 annually for Retired and Senior members) payable in January. Members joining after January shall pay prorated dues.





Ethical Standards



The Tucson Chaplains Association (TCA) facilitates mutual encouragement, support, understanding, respect and collegiality among its members.
•The TCA shall admit to membership and serve all qualified persons without discrimination regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, age, disability, religion, or faith group. Inclusivity and diversity are foundational values of the TCA.
•Members shall demonstrate respect for the opinions, beliefs and professional endeavors of other members.
•Members shall not use their relationship to TCA for personal gain. They shall refrain from emotional, financial, sexual, or any other form of exploitation.

The Tucson Chaplains Association (TCA) supports and promotes professional chaplaincy and safeguards high professional standards.
•Members of the TCA are expected to follow the Common Code of Ethics for Spiritual Care Professions affirmed by the constituent boards of the Council of Collaboration, which represents the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC), American Association of Pastoral Counselors (AAPC), Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE), National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC), the National Association of Jewish Chaplains (NAJC), College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy (CPSP) and the Canadian Association for Pastoral Practice and Education.
