Tufts University

Tufts was founded in 1852 when Charles Tufts donated land for the campus on Walnut Hill in Medford, saying that he would put a "light on the hill."

Today, Tufts includes four campuses and seven schools and is a student-centered research university dedicated to the creation and application of knowledge.
