JoAnn Inserra Duncan, MS, RMT

JoAnn is the founder of Turning Point Healing Arts and Education Center, which incorporates Turning Point Reiki, LLC, Turning Point S.H.A.R.E. Divorce Group and is home to this team of skilled practitioners offering a variety of modalities.
JoAnn uses intuition, experience and a deep spiritual connection in her Reiki, IET® and Reconnective Healing ® sessions. She specializes in care for individuals with cancer, back pain, Lyme disease and other tick borne illnesses. She finds it very rewarding to help clients heal core issues by applying advanced techniques that help heal the cellular memory. JoAnn teaches all levels of Reiki as well as other specialized classes.

Mary Beth Johnston, LMT, RMT

Mary Beth customizes massage based on the individual, often incorporating elements of many techniques (Swedish, Relaxation, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage and Reiki). She finds helping people achieve relaxation and/or pain relief through massage to be quite rewarding. She believes that we all carry a deep innate wisdom of how to heal ourselves on all levels. Brenda Story, RMT

Brenda draws from her extensive training to practice a wide variety of energy healing modalities including, IET®, Reiki Crystal Healing, Sacred Childbirth with Reiki ™ and Shamanic Reiki. Brenda uses her intuition and guidance to provide a session that is customized to the client's needs.

Stacy Raymond, Psy.D. – Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Raymond offers traditional and alternative approaches to depression, low self esteem, anxiety, recovery from trauma (including sports PTSD) and relationship issues. Individual Psychotherapy and Energy Psychology Techniques (EMDR, EFT and Inner Balance®) are used to help clients quickly and gently release negative thoughts and feelings associated with painful memories. She takes a mind-body-spirit approach to physical ailments, emotional imbalance and job or sport performance issues. Releasing the past and accepting oneself are at the root of all healing.

Valerie Rich,

Valerie Rich has been interested in Yoga since 1982 whilst living in England. During this time she earned her Psychology degree and trained as an Alexander Technique teacher, studying with many of F.M. Alexander’s original students. While living in Melbourne, Australia, Valerie received her Yoga teacher training certificate and began teaching. She also helped set up and direct The School of F.M. Alexander Studies, a three year teacher training course.
Valerie continued to study Yoga and gained a teaching certificate in Pre and Postnatal Yoga. She also fell in love with Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and is trained to teach the Primary Series. Aside from her interest in Yoga, she is a Reiki Master, and uses her skills as a volunteer for hospice.
She tailors her teaching of Yoga, Alexander Technique and Meditation to the individual and passionately and skillfully focuses on empowering the individual towards health and well being. Valerie teaches classes in and around Fairfield County and also offers private Yoga, Alexander Technique and Meditation sessions.

Deana is a spiritual teacher, holistic health educator, shamanic healer and reiki master teacher. Deana is also an Adjunct Professor at WCSU in Danbury, CT. Positive Psychology is known as the study of what works. Debbie will help you recognize that you have the ability to take control of your health and happiness. She assists you in discovering more about yourself and helps you recognize what is purposeful to you. Only you can recognize what your ideal self looks like. Debbie uses many modalities to assist you in making a shift toward better health and a happier you.
