Tyler's Legacy

Tyler’s Legacy is an organization created to provide assistance to the underprivileged and disadvantaged in our community.
When a need is identified we work together with local resources to provide the necessary service.
All volunteers within Tyler’s Legacy work for no compensation. All proceeds raised go directly to funding projects to help others.


Tyler Mayle loved music, was committed to excellence, was a natural leader, and took pride in the Windsor High School Marching Band. He was the drum major for the Pride of Windsor in 2006, 2007, & 2008. After directing the marching band to 3A Colorado State Championship in 2008 he led the band down Pennsylvania Avenue in 2009 at President Obama's Inauguration Parade.

Tyler also loved helping people in any way he could. He would reach out to others to serve in many ways. In 2013 Tyler lost his life in a tragic hiking accident. In his memory, the Mayle Family created the Tyler2Miler - a Fun Run/Walk to raise funds to help students who need financial assistance with marching band fees.
