II Corinthians 5:7
">Tyson Chapel AME Zion Church has a very rich and encouraging history. She began during slavery,. Unknown to their masters, slaves secretly met for prayer and praise services in the home of Mrs. Millie Tyson. After the Emancipation Proclamation was signed and slave masters awarded property to their slaves, Mrs. Millie Tyson used her property for the Church and donated it for a Church Site.. The Church was named in honor of the Tyson Family's dedication and donation.
