Welcome to the Department of Theatre & Dance at UC San Diego, a world-renown program that trains engaged and innovative artists and scholars. Students here are continuously encouraged to broaden their perspectives, challenge their assumptions, and seek fresh ways to engage with theatre and dance traditions.The Theatre & Dance department also shares a close relationship with the Tony Award-winning La Jolla Playhouse, where MFA candidates are provided professional residencies.
