The Reading and Academic Development Center incorporates many types of activities in the areas of research, educational services, and training.
Research:
The RAD center collaborates with schools, teachers, and families to conduct groundbreaking research in the development and implementation of interventions for struggling readers.
Clinical and Educational Services:
The RAD Center provides services including assessments and tailored reading interventions on a sliding scale fee basis to school-aged children with learning and developmental difficulties.
Training:
The RAD center is committed to the training of undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral scholars to become the next generation of researchers, teachers, and practitioners.
