UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica recently opened its doors after a major rebuilding project to replace most of the existing facility with a new, state-of-the-art medical center offering optimal inpatient facilities, as well as the 16,000-square-foot Nethercutt Emergency Center.
The rebuilt hospital will connect to the existing Merle Norman Pavilion and features an inviting, user-friendly design compatible with the hospital's neighborhood setting.
Some of its key features will include six new, state-of-the-art operating rooms, a critical care unit with state-of-the-art medical equipment and 360-degree access to patients, an expanded inpatient pediatrics unit, all-digital imaging technology, leading-edge medical equipment and communications technology.
