UCO Outdoor Adventure Recreation Center

The Outdoor Adventure Recreation Center offers UCO students, faculty, staff, and the Edmond community many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. Our unique facility, located on beautiful Lake Arcadia, houses our fleet of kayaks, canoes, SUPs and mountain bikes for both rentals and one-on-one or group instruction. If you're looking for an adventure or team building, the OAR has a challenge course open year round with low elements, high elements, and team building activities.

The OAR facility is also a great place to hold your next event. Our conference room and outdoor event space is available to rent and OAR staff is also available to facilitate events, as well. We look forward to seeing you for your next outdoor adventure.

UCO is an official Paralympic site and offers many adaptive programs as well such as adaptive rock climbing, adaptive kayaking, and hiking.
