UMass Worcester Police Department

The UMASS Worcester Police Department is located on the main level (level 2) of the South Road Visitor's parking garage (by the main pedestrian walkway). We're open, staffed and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

All UMASS Police Officers are sworn under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 75, Section 32A. We have the same law enforcement authority as Municipal Police in any city and town across the Commonwealth and are trained at Municipal Police Academies.

The UMASS Medical School, associated properties and the UMASS Memorial Medical Center fall under the sole jurisdiction of the UMASS Police Department.
