UMKC Student Union

The UMKC Student Union building is a $38.1 million facility that is LEED gold certified and is at the heart of the UMKC Volker campus. The building opened in the fall of 2010 and houses a US Bank branch, a multi-level bookstore, a movie theater, a 6400 sq. ft. multi-purpose room, 36 student organization spaces, offices conference rooms and 4 eating options i.e. 1 coffeehouse, Chic-Fil A, Baja Fresh and Mein Bowl. The building has a total square footage of 109,000 sq. ft.
