The BSN, MSN, and DNP programs at UMSL are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, One Dupont Circle, NW, Suite 530, Washington, DC 20036, (202) 887-6791.

The prelicensure program is fully approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing (MOSBON) which ensures that graduates of the pre-licensure track of the BSN program are eligible to take the registered nurse licensure examination (NCLEX-RN).
