VALP works with veterans and adult learners at UNG in multiple ways. Here are a few examples:

*Need help with advising and can’t get in touch with your advisor? Call or email VALP and they can help with advising and scheduling.

*Thinking of taking a CLEP exam? Don’t want to pay for CLEP study guide? VALP has a study guide for all CLEP exams offered here at UNG.

*Have work experience that fits in with your degree? Talk to VALP about getting college credit for prior learning.

*Have military experience? Talk to VALP and see what military courses and occupations can transfer over to college credit.

*Need a quiet place to study? VALP has created resource centers on the Gainesville and Dahlonega campus just for you. Adult Learner Resource Center is located on the Gainesville campus inside the student Center. Military Resource Center is located on the Gainesville campus inside the Dunlap/Mathis Building room 119. Veteran Resource Center is located on the Dahlonega campus inside the Hoag Student Center Room 319.
