Porter Township is a civil township of Cass County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 3,798 at the 2010 census.Communities Union is an unincorporated community in the southeast part of the township on US 12 at Union Rd. It has a post office.Williamsville is an unincorporated community in the northwest part of the township on Sears St. and Williamsville St.Zimmysville is an unincorporated community on the southwest part of the township near M-217GeographyPorter Township is located in the southeast corner of Cass County and is bordered to the east by St. Joseph County and to the south by the state of Indiana.
