United Equine LLC

Kelly opened United Equine LLC in the spring of 2010. It has been her lifelong dream to own and operate her own equestrian training facility. In 2007, Kelly graduated Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT with a Bachelor of Arts Psychology degree. It is Kelly’s ultimate goal to integrate her psychology education with her passion for horses by facilitating children with special needs.
Kelly’s horse career started at age 5, when she was given her first pony by her parents. During her youth she rode with many notable trainers in the Connecticut ‘A’ Show Circuit. During the summer of 2005, Kelly interned at Lion Share Farm, owned and operated by Olympic medalist Peter Leone. During this time her passion for the jumper ring developed. However, along with the jumpers she continued to compete in both the hunter and equitation arena during her remaining amateur years.
Since 2007, Kelly has been living and working in the Northwest. Her move brings the quality and education of many exceptional northeast trainers.
United Equine specializes in developing the skills of the new rider. From children to adults, Kelly’s patience and compassion allows for the perfect learning environment. Kelly believes in developing proper horsemanship skills and how essential these skills are for becoming a good rider.
