Formed in 1998, UPC is a merger of First Presbyterian Church and Hammond Avenue Presbyterian Church, with the Itasca Presbyterian congregation joining to create one united Presbyterian Church to serve the entire Superior community.

The congregation supports multiple internal and external mission projects and views itself as truly a church of the community.

Several outside groups utilize the 15,000 square foot facility as UPC is a barrier free complex, allowing access to all people.

Worshippers enter the facility directly into the open narthex that visually and physically connects with the three functional areas: worship, education-administration and fellowship.
