United Unitarian Universalist Congregation

United Unitarian Universalist Congregation began in 1877 in the village of Mukwonago. It was among the first congregations to unite Unitarians and Universalists into one society, for generations representing liberal religion in southeastern Wisconsin. In 2012, the congregation moved to its current home in Waukesha.

We are a congregation that takes its history seriously while living out a vibrant present. We believe in an open-minded, common sense, love centered religion. We are interested in life's deepest questions and feel a longing to connect with others who feel the same way.

United is non-creedal, which means you are welcome no matter what you believe, where you come from, or who you love. We see wisdom in the world religions as well as in each unique person. We want to be the friendliest congregation in town, warm and inclusive, while taking seriously the many challenges we face as individuals and as a society. We want to make a difference in the world, spreading hope, joy and love.
