We identify, health and human service issues and the groups affected by these issues. Ensure the community has the opportunity to participate. Raise the maximum funds possible through an annual giving campaign. Maintain open lines of communication between the community and all funded agencies. Organize and operate a systematic program for distributing funds raised in United Way campaigns. Develop ways to include in the distribution plan those organizations which have not been funded before. Reduce or discontinue funding those organizations that are no longer relevant to community needs. Provide donor involvement in the fund distribution program while providing giving options to all donors.
