United Way of Southwestern Indiana

United Way of Southwestern Indiana is a nonprofit organization that brings individuals, agencies, businesses, schools and government together to address issues that impact our community.

We invest resources raised through our annual campaign in programs that are meeting people's basic needs and in programs that are addressing long-term solutions.

(We believe) all children in Southwestern Indiana deserve the best start in life and we work to ensure all children enter school prepared to learn.

(We believe) our economy depends on a prepared workforce and we work to ensure all Southwestern Indiana youth achieve their full potential.

(We believe) every family should have the opportunity to meet their basic needs. We work to increase the financial stability of working families.

(We believe) families and individuals should have access to affordable health care. We work to bridge the gaps in services for people in need of access to mental and physical health care. We work to promote healthy lifestyles.

We can accomplish these things by investing our resources in programs that meet people’s immediate needs and programs that build on long term solutions. Only when we work together with all sectors of our community can we advance the common good and change our community for the better.
