Thanks to Hershel V. Jenkins and his generosity, we are 1 of only 4 United Ways in the nation with 100% of our administration and fundraising costs covered by the trust he established more than 70 years ago. Every dollar given goes back to our community. 100 percent of your donations go directly to those in need.

Our office takes great pleasure in being the “go-to” organization in Liberty County for not only the educational, health and self-sufficiency needs of the citizens, but also the cultural, volunteer and community involvement aspects of everyday life. Our office also administers FEMA funds for the County, works to create synergy among funded programs and the community through idea sharing and project development.
