Located at the University of Houston main campus, the University Eye Institute (UEI) has been serving Houstonians' vision needs for more than 65 years.

The UEI offers ophthalmic services that range from comprehensive eye examinations to the medical and surgical management of eye disorders.

The UEI facilities also houses a full-service ambulatory surgical center and nJoy Vision Lasik Center.

Our doctors are not only some of the most highly-trained in the optometric industry, but many of them are the doctors who taught the doctors when they were students. The College of Optometry (UHCO) is internationally-recognized for its vision scientists and their research.
