University of Minnesota Autism Initiative

The University of Minnesota Autism Initiative (U.M.A.I.) represents a collective of UMN researchers, educators, and providers all focused on improving the lives of individuals with autism spectrum disorder in the state of Minnesota. This collaborative effort includes individuals from the Institute of Child Development, Department of Psychiatry, Department of Pediatrics, Department of Educational Psychology, Department of Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences, Department of Psychology, and the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, among other centers and programs on the UMN-Twin Cities campus. Through open and collaborative partnerships, the state of Minnesota is well poised to become a leader in autism research, practice, and policy. Please stay tuned for news and future developments.
