University of Missouri Extension improves people's lives through relevant, responsive and reliable research-based education from University of Missouri. MU Extension is a partnership of local, state and federal government with the University of Missouri and the people of Missouri. In St. Charles County, this partnership involves St. Charles County Government as the local partner. The federal partner is the National Institute for Food and Agriculture (NIFA) of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Representing the people of St. Charles County is the local MU Extension Council, a volunteer governing board of elected and appointed members that guide extension programming, administer extension county funds and make personnel recommendations.
