Untiedt's Vegetable Farm, Inc

The search for excellence never ends on the Untiedt's Vegetable Farm. Its been nearly 40 years since my wife and I left the Minneapolis area and headed West on what turned out to be the adventure of a lifetime.

Leaving the city to begin a lifetime of growing was no easy decision. There was no family farm to inherit, no family business to move into, and no knowledge base to draw upon. Only the drive and desire of two young people in search of a life together. Driven by a desire to pursue dreams (Sue my wife as an educator) and myself as a Grower, we dove in.

Sustained by endless energy levels, a passion for the land, and a love for each other, we persevered. Sampling so many ventures, learning from failure after failure, perhaps we've arrived. This arrival, not necessarily signaled by monetary success, but by developing standards of authenticity and land stewardship to live by.

We are truly growers, and by being growers have adopted standards of land stewardship, farm direction, social conscience and general respect for all persons that truly guarantee our sustainability as the next generations of our family choose to work alongside us.
