Daily and weekly pontoon, fishing boat and stand-up paddle (SUP) board rentals on Long Lake in Traverse City, MI. Up North Boat Rentals is owned and operated by Rick and Ellen White.

Enjoy the beautiful blue waters of Long Lake! Explore its island, four of which are dedicated to the public for use as parks. See eagles soaring and hear loons calling to each other as they swim with young chicks on their backs. Putter through the no-wake inlet to access Mickey Lake, a quiet, wooded lake full of birdsong and otters.

Your boat will be delivered to your dock on Long Lake or to the public boat launch or public dock on North Long Lake Road. A tutorial on how to operate the boat as well as instructions on water levels, shallow areas to avoid and best places to swim.

We also offer a captained evening cruise for those who want to be on the lake, but who prefer to have someone else drive the boat.

Pontoon boats are 20 & 22 feet. Fishing boat is 16 foot.
