USA Children's & Women's Hospital NICU

If you are from Mobile or the surrounding areas, there is a good chance that you know someone who has had a baby spend time with us in the Hollis J. Wiseman Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the University of South Alabama’s Children’s and Women’s Hospital. As the area’s only level III NICU, we have the capabilities to care for the smallest and most critical newborns. We admit approximately 900 infants a year and provide comprehensive care for them and their families.

Our NICU is a state of the art facility where miracles happen all the time. As nurses, we feel very lucky to get to work with our tiny patients. We also love the opportunity to grow close with their families.

The goal of this fundraiser is to redecorate the unit and make it a calming place for our babies and their families. We want the unit to be as beautiful as it is functional!

How can you help?

1. Donate- USA Children’s & Women’s Hospital is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization. Donations to the hospital are tax-free charitable contributions.
If you are interested in donating in honor or in memory of one of our babies of if you would like to have your name or or the name of your business displayed in the unit, we are working on that! We will post more details as they become available.

2. Fundraise- Get your church, school, or place of employment involved! We’d love to help spread the word about any fundraising ideas you might have. We’ve heard some awesome ideas so far, and we can’t wait to hear what you can come up with! Brady and Margie would be glad to speak with your organization about our unit and what we do.
