UT Hearing Center

The University of Tennessee Hearing Center was founded in 1953 along with the Speech Center to meet the needs of children and adults with speech, language, and hearing problems. The Center functions as an educational facility as well as a service provider within the Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology.

The Hearing Center provides diagnostic and treatment services for children, adolescents, and adults who have hearing impairment. The clinical services are provided by doctoral students under the supervision of highly qualified Doctors of Audiology who also hold certification awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
