Built in 1985, the Memorial Student Center of UW-Stout is the campus's second student center after moving from what is now the Communications Technology Building, built in 1959. The Student Center exists to facilitate the improvement of all students social and educational experiences by providing accommodating spaces for any activity, services for any need, and staff for any questions or assistance. In January 2011, the Memorial Student Center closed for a year-long renovation. It re-opened at 10:00am on Sunday, January 22, 2012 - transformed and ready for the next 25 years.
