The University of West Georgia'a Comprehensive Community Clinic (CCC) is an educational training facility for undergraduate and graduate students to apply the skills and knowledge the gain during academic studies in a highly supervised clinical environment.
Services include:
*Speech-Language & Hearing Clinic: Provides comprehensive speech-language and hearing evaluation and private therapy. Services are administered by graduate student clinicians under the supervision of licensed professionals.
*Literacy Lab: Provides assessment and instructional services in reading and writing for students in grades K-12 and adults who are having difficulties with reading.
*Math Lab:Provides diagnostic and instructional services for students K-5th grade. Services are provided by senior early childhood education majors.
*Counseling: Offers confidential mental health screenings and private counseling services for adults, adolescents, children, and families. Services are provided by graduate student counselors.
*ADHD Screening: Pre-screenings and full evaluations conducted by UWG students.
In May 2016, the CCC expanded in partnership with West Georgia Technical College & now includes a grant-funded early intervention speech clinic in Waco, GA.
