VA Democracy Forward - VADF

Welcome to our new Dems group of 270+ members - VA DEMS FORWARD (VADF) - which connects people who want to get more involved, share ideas and take action towards a better future. We have members from McLean, Arlington, Falls Church, Fairfax and other NoVA neighborhoods, in addition to multiple joining us from DC and MD (so they can help out in Purple VA).

We started communicating immediately after the Nov election and had our first monthly meeting in Dec 2016. We've had 16 events so far (guest speakers - local politicians, candidates and campaign strategists, phone bank, ballot signature collecting, postcard party, Women's March bus, member meetings, etc.). We have 7 committees right now, with others forming, including VA Elections, Youth, Outreach (to other grassroots groups and populations), Communications, Education, Environment and Immigration.
