What started out as a labor of love in 1991 has become a special tradition in the Vacaville community, one that represents families, fun, giving, and the spirit of the holidays. Churches, businesses, organizations and individuals work together to create a three-day winter wonderland that culminates in the sale of more than 100 large and small Christmas trees – with proceeds all going to Opportunity House, Vacaville’s homeless shelter. The festival runs Tuesday through Thursday the week after Thanksgiving, and offers daily entertainment as well as crafts and baked goods for sale. This year's major sponsors include Envoy Mortgage; Kaiser Permanente and McGuire Consulting.
