The house was abandoned for over 80 years with never any electricity or indoor plumbing. It was lovingly restored from 2007 to 2010 and stands today as a gracious reminder that the original German settlers found so appealing. The original stone walls of the home have remained solid, and the quality materials from which the home was constructed have endured the test of time.
