Valiant Cross Academy

Valiant Cross Academy is an all-male school that begin its first year with 6th grade boys in 2015. We are planning to add one grade each year until we have reached the 12th grade. The Academy is a private school with a Christian curriculum and will be located in West Montgomery, Alabama. Valiant Cross Academy is a school with an intentional culture of structure and discipline. The school will be governed by a board and under the administration of Anthony Brock as Principal and Frederick Brock as Director of Operations. We will have distinct uniforms, an effective consequence and award system, and an intense focus on the academic success of our scholars. Our academic program will include small class sizes, longer school days, double the math and triple the literacy time, differentiated instruction, Saturday School, aggressive tutoring, a daily after-school program, and a weekly chapel service.

We felt compelled to start this school for males to address some of the clear challenges that plague our city and our nation. We believe with love, discipline, and a dedication to high expectations that all scholars can achieve. To give our scholars post-graduation options, we will place each one on a sound academic and vocational track. Our vision is to increase the literacy rate, attendance rate, and ultimately the graduation rate. Our long-term goal is to teach each one of our scholars the skills necessary to become lifelong learners and productive citizens.
