Valiant Veterans

Valiant Veterans began out of a need for post war veterans returning home from the recent wars of the past 12 years, who suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome and Traumatic Brain Injury.
Currently, we work with specific Veterans who are returning, and not yet home, through communication of counsel on how to prepare for their first time reintegrating to civilian life. We are currently doing the same with combat veterans who had been imprisoned for violations due to their illness and working with them as they reintegrate.

We have invested in a service dog that we are training from a puppy to work with our severely challenged veterans. His name is “Gunnar” and he is a Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute who is already making an impact in the lives of our service men and women.

Our coining ceremonies have been a great reward to nearly 200 veterans at this time and we have become known as a place where veterans are able to feel accepted. Our efforts have attracted a number of Vietnam Veterans who are now just beginning to emerge to receive the much needed support they have not had these many years.
