The Valley Mills ISD Education Foundation links community resources – time, money, services, expertise – with the needs of our schools to enhance and
complement Valley Mills ISD’s educational mission. The Foundation builds broad based support for educational excellence, increases the visibility and value of our
schools and promotes the understanding that everyone in the community is
responsible for creating a quality educational system.

THE FOUNDATION...
• is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit tax-exempt philanthropic
charitable organization.
• cultivates and supports innovation to benefit
students and staff and enhance the mission of the
school district.
• supports activities not funded by tax revenue.
• solicits funding from private and corporate
sources.
• awards funding through a process developed and
overseen by volunteer committee, representing
business, community and educational leaders.
