Welcome to Valley Power Equipment & Rental, Northeast Pennsylvania's Home for Outdoor Power Equipment! We are a family owned full-service business that has been serving the local Wilkes-Barre and surrounding areas for the past 42 years with equipment, parts, and service after the sale. While our showroom looks similar with units and pricing, we are able to set ourselves apart from the mass merchants due to our extensive knowledge and expertise in both sales and service.

Valley Power was founded in 1972 after Hurricane Agnes which ended up flooding the Wyoming Valley and our owner (Ray) started off in a small garage repairing flooded power equipment to help the cleanup and try to restore the area. Since then, Valley Power has changed locations twice to where we stand today since June of 1984. At first, our current building was a small bait shop but countless additions later to both the repair department, storage, and most recently our showroom. The focus of our business is customer oriented which allows us to retain our friendly, neighborhood store identity.

We are known for their Top 4 brands which are Stihl, Toro, Honda and Snapper. However, we carry over 15 different brands of power equipment and outdoor related items. Whether you are a residential user or commercial, we will have the product offering you need!
