Dr. John Vassallo is a Board Certified Surgical Ophthalmologist who performed a private fellowship in advanced corneal, cataract and refractive surgical techniques. Dr. Vassallo has been in practice since 1992 when he opened Vassallo Eye Institute in St. Augustine and Palatka, Florida. Dr. Vassallo specializes in "No Stitch" Cataract surgery, Glaucoma treatment and surgery, Diabetic Retinopathy Management and Glasses and Contact Lenses. He has been voted "Top Doc" by Jacksonville Magazine and "America's Top Ophthalmologist" by Consumer Research Council of America.
