The story of Vavako begins with its predecessor Amore Chocolates. In 2003 we encountered – within a chocolate boutique – a newfound passion. We envsioned producing the finest chocolates on Bellevue’s historic Old Main Street. Through hard work, love for chocolate making, and constantly striving for an ideal we turned the dream into a reality, gaining recognition as the favorite chocolate destination among the Eastside and Seattle locals.



After a decade of fine chocolate making, Amore Chocolates on Main decided to further improve its brand. Vavako stepped in to pick up where Amore Chocolates’ story leaves off, ensuring that the ambition remained a constant: to always create an ever better and ever perfect chocolate experience. Alongside chocolate we now bring its finest complements: roses and coffee. An amalgam of products that synthesize the perfect compound: satisfaction.



A key to our success and fundamental to our freshness is our small handmade batches. We use only the best ingredients with no added preservatives. We have an extensive array of truffles, butter creams, nut clusters, caramels, and turtles. We are vegan friendly and are able to accommodate most dietary restrictions and allergies. We provide all of this because, as a patron of Vavako, you deserve to fall in love every time you step in our door.
