Welcome to the Facebook page of the All American Frank T. Strayer VFW Post 1587 located in beautiful Speedway, Indiana. We're a Not for Profit veteran community organization who's goal is to provide our members and our community with a safe, family oriented place to host parties or special occasions. We are located on the West side of Indianapolis, Indiana near the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway. We welcome all veterans and their families and support the Speedway community and the community of veterans in the Indianapolis area.

Our post has members from all American wars from World War II through Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.

We also have a very active Auxiliary chapter.

We have several activities including picnics and outdoor activities in our on-site park, fundraisers, a POW/MIA ceremony and banquet facilities..

We have a casual canteen and provide a safe friendly atmosphere with free access to most major sporting events on our flat-screen TVs.

Our Canteen permits smoking, however our banquet/meeting room is smoke free. We provide a very competitive range of beer, wine and alcoholic beverages at very affordable prices. We also have a limited kitchen with a tasty selection of menu items, all at a great price.
