Victory BJJ's, humble beginnings included years of informal training sessions in the basement of head instructor Ed Reyes. Ed’s passion for jiu-jitsu and lack of readily available training space led to the opening of his home on Sunday nights to anyone who was interested in the sport.

Serving the far north suburbs of Illinois, including Waukegan and Gurnee, Victory BJJ strives to help you reach your goals through jiu-jitsu, including whether you strive to become a competition champion or simply want to lose some weight.

Ed, beginning his jiu-jitsu career in 2007, is currently a brown-belt under first-degree black belt Mark Vives.
Victory BJJ is an affiliate of New Breed Training Center.
