The company name, VijayaKriti is based on my mother’s name, Vijaya, who passed away in 2010. The “Kriti” part of the name means creation. Since my mother passed away, my sister in law and I wanted to do something to honor her name. My sister in law gave me the idea to open this company. The company is an importing business from India. We will have a variety of imported handcrafted items from distinctive locations in India. The distinctive locations are places that were close to her heart. My mother was a big fan of Indian handcrafted items. She had substantial pride for India, and the effort people put in to make each handcrafted item in India. A lot of handcrafted products in India are unique, and diverse in terms of location. Some of these items cannot be found anywhere here in the United States. The main goal of the company is to grow with our exporters and customers. We hope you will give me the opportunity to help grow my mother’s name.
