When Gaetano Gammacurta left Campobello di Licata, Sicily in 1954 he created what would be a staple in Williamsville, the Village Barber. Once the clippers grew too heavy, Gaetano handed them over to his nephew, Charles J. Ciotta. Since 1988, Charlie has carried on the family legacy and provided the growing area with the stability it needed. ,a merger of traditional and contempory another one of them being to tip the cap to old Uncle Gaetano. We decided to pay homage to him the only way we knew how. Which brings us back to the beginning, why does the shop have the feel it does? Well simply because, we never forgot where we started.
