Welcome to Newcomerstown, Ohio, located on the original Delaware Indian capital of Gekelmukpeckunk ( Say that three times fast) in southwest Tuscarawas County. Our history is visible everywhere with our two museums, a working 19th century hardware store and remaining parts of the Ohio Canal. Our village (pop. 3,822) is a progressive and promising location for residents and businesses alike, providing an excellent fire, police, EMT, water, and waste water departments to the public. The Newcomerstown Industrial Park provides all the land and infrastructure necessary to supply any industry’s requirements.
