With dozens of buildings on the National Historical Register, including the unique Town Hall and downtown district that dates to the 1880’s, Wellington treasures the past but also embraces the future with new commercial, residential and industrial development.

As home of the Lorain County Fairgrounds, Wellington hosts many large events including the fair, the Ohio Scottish Games and the LaGrange Engine Show. A number of other events held downtown round out a summer that offers an event nearly every weekend.
