At Villalobos, we serve food inspired by traditional Mexican dishes and ingredients. We use quality locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Our tortillas are handmade daily on-site.

Growing up in Nutley, NJ, Adam Rose and VJ Moscaritola have been friends since back in the day. Exploring neighborhoods in NJ and NY led to traveling to California, Salt Lake City, Chicago, Philly, and Portland. They ultimately found themselves in la patria — trekking across Mexico to places like Oaxaca and Mexico City. With a mutual respect and love for classic Mexican food, they've partnered to make Villalobos a reality. Adam's menu draws on influences of traditional recipes and indigenous ingredients, in his own interpretation.
