Vintage Acres Scotties was founded on the love of this most wonderful breed, the Scottish Terrier. I first fell in love with the Scottish Terrier years ago when I first learned of Fala and how he was an intricate part of President Roosevelt's family life. I knew then that was the dog I would some day wish for my very own. We started with 2 sisters Lexie and Brigit and our first male, Ruff N Tuff out of excellent lines. We have continued with their offspring and added our top boy, Cajun Wolf who is also sired by a great show boy, AKC Ch. Foxspring Ragin Cajun of Hiwood, also known as Wolfie and from there we have continued our love of the breed. We research our lines and their families to assure ourselves we have for you a great pair to bring you a most wonderful Scottish Terrier to the standards. We have a NEW SIRE, RAINBOW STYLE CHIEFTAIN FROM RUSSIA. WE WILL HAVE OUR FIRST LITTER IN 2016 WITH CHIEF.
We do all vWD testing or bring only a clear Scottish Terrier into our family. No scottie cramp, no bladder cancer or other cancers known in our lines. No thyroid, epilepsy, liver shunt , skin allergies or CA or CMO.
We are very small and we take pride in providing all of our families the assurance of a healthy and loving and very friendly family companion and to be with them for years to come. Our Scottish Terriers are family they are not placed in a kennel and forgotten they are a big part of our lives daily, and our families can attest to that when they have visit our home and visit with our clan of Scotties! We provide a 24 month genetic health guarantee for all of our babies and we do not let just anyone bring one of our puppies into their life without finding out about them first, and how they are going to take care of our precious babies! We are here for the lifetime of your puppy, into adult ages, and we are here for any questions and needs you have for us to help. we also will take back one of our scotties at any time without question if you can no longer take care of them for any reason. I will rehome them with another loving family and keep in touch also. We have 2-3 litters only in any given year and sometimes we have not had any at all, just let our girls be just that our girls!!! I will not let anyone have a puppy without getting to know you first. I have to make sure that you can take care of them as they should be and know about the Scottish Terrier as a breed. They are a loving family companion and adapt to your lifestyle easily. They are my life, not a passing fancy but my life choice for my forever breed and forever family companion.
